Fondest Memory:  The time Chris Ransom 'saved' Mrs. Hood's English class from the same snake he himself had brought to school that day.  Mrs. Hood seized the opportunity to laud his cool thinking and presence of mind.  We all knew it was Chris's snake, but played right along.  Honors English always had an element of theater, after all.

 

Worst Memory: 

 

What I've Learned Since Graduation:  Life is good, but short.

 

The Last 35 Years:  Karen and I have lived in Austin for about 11 years.  I won't bore you with the details, except to say we have two fine kids (one of each) who are just about grown now.  We are learning to be empty-nesters and enjoying that.  I ride bikes and sail quite a bit.  Regarding careers: We each have one.  And we are very happy with life to date.   

It does not get much better than this.
