I've Learned Since Graduation: I could have learned more by being in the actual workforce than anything I gained from school. Who actually uses algebra or fractions on a daily basis?
The
Last 35 Years:
I was married for 22 years and I've been divorced for the last 14. I also have no interest in EVER getting married again. I'm not bitter; I just hate conflict. This way, if I get mad, I have only myself to blame and I rarely stay mad at myself very long......
Since high school, I've had a wide variety of unusual jobs but two of my favorites are:
(1) A toy inspector for Sears catalog warehouse. It was a blast; I got to play with toys ALL DAY!
(2) Working for Phantom's Haunted House for 4 years when they were in Lewisville!
Currently, I'm an executive secretary for a construction company and I've been with the firm for 16 years and still love it. I'm also a part-time photographer and would rather give my work away than sell it!
Evidently, "school" didn't teach me anything practical...... :)
